Sai Namtok Resort, Khao Kho, offers three types of accommodations: - Wooden houses by the river (6 units) - Cave houses on the cliff (3 units) - Vineyard house (1 unit)
Sai Namtok Resort is a resort located next to a waterfall, offering a close encounter with nature. >>> "Kaeng Sao Noi Waterfall" is a hidden gem, unknown to most tourists. In the past, villagers used it as a place to relax during festivals like Songkran and New Year. The waterfall is approximately 30-40 meters high and has water flowing year-round. A large bat cave is located nearby. During the rainy season in July, when water from various sources flows into the waterfall, sometimes flooding the cave, a large number of bats can be seen flying out, filling the sky. The cave remains a mystery, with legends and stories about undiscovered treasures. The area around the waterfall is rich in biodiversity, with a variety of large trees, including some growing on rocks. It is also home to various birds and animals, with a nature trail leading to the end of the waterfall. *** Thanks to Sai Namtok Resort, Khao Kho, for the information about the waterfall's history.
Path to the room

Our accommodation for tonight is called "Baan Mai Rim Nam," a beautifully decorated wooden house by the river, perfect for relaxation.
The rooms offer a view of the waterfall, the only one in Khao Kho. Additionally, the sound of the waterfall can be heard constantly. The construction of the rooms is made entirely of wood, both inside and out.

The bathroom has a water heater, so you don't have to worry about being cold.
The balcony outside the room is equipped with comfortable chairs for relaxation. During the morning and afternoon hours, the sun can be quite intense.
Resort owner Nat shared that during the late rainy season and early winter, fog would drift through the area, sometimes rising from the water.
After taking a break to rest, we went out for lunch (late lunch... 555). The resort recommended that we eat at the restaurant >> Khao Rai - Black Chicken Restaurant, Khao Kho <<. This restaurant is located on Route 12 and offers affordable prices. The food is average and mostly consists of local Hmong dishes.
Just a short walk from the shop, you'll find Bud Cafe', a charming coffee shop with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. It also doubles as an art gallery, making it a great spot to unwind and soak up the creative vibes.
The rose tea is incredibly fragrant.
After a satisfying meal, we returned to the resort. Coincidentally, it was the Hmong New Year celebration, and there were many people dressed in traditional Hmong attire.
I really like these two people. When I saw them, I rushed over to ask them for a photo. They are both beautiful and handsome.
After a satisfying meal and a feast for the eyes, we returned to the resort to explore the surroundings.
Entrance to >>> Baan Suan Angoon <<<
There are swings to play on as well.
While taking photos, I came across two young sisters walking by. I asked them if I could take their picture to share with my friends. (They are the nieces of the resort owner and are very beautiful and cute.)
Dining area zone
This bathroom is quite lovely.
The way back to the room.
We had a delicious dinner at the resort.
This is my favorite.
This translates to: "He said that the "nam prik" is delicious and goes well with deep-fried pork belly."
"Good morning." This morning, the weather is very good. I woke up and rushed out of the room. I came out to sit and enjoy the breeze and the view.
This is the view that Sai is sitting and watching… It's a pity that there is not much water. Let's come back during the rainy season. It must be cool.
It's time for breakfast.
After finishing our meal and taking a bath, we prepared to return home.
The resort offers Hmong costumes for rent for photo shoots, but unfortunately, they don't have larger sizes, so I couldn't participate. Oh well...
I saw the doll in secret.
This trip, I barely went anywhere. I only went out for lunch outside the resort. In fact, the purpose of this trip was to relax. Just sitting and lying down, listening to the sound of the waterfall, was pure bliss. The nights were quite cool, and I slept soundly. In the morning, I woke up and sipped coffee on my private balcony, listening to the sound of the waterfall and admiring the nature from the balcony in front of my room. It was truly a blissful experience.
